In the 2025 version, an added toggle switch allows users to switch the tone from a right side tightened gain ( Golden Plexi 2) to left side more high gain and bass (low gain). This version also optimizes the high frequencies in TONE. It's actually very quiet.
The sensitivity of the tone control means that you can run this pedal into the clean channel of nearly any amplifier and get the classic plexi sound you are craving. Keep the control low for a smooth lead tone, or crank it higher for a more cutting sound that'll pierce through nicely in a mix.
