Strain screening technology
Combining bioinformatics and molecular biology techniques, gene editing and modification of model engineering bacteria such as Escherichia coli are carried out. At the same time, a high-throughput droplet microfluidic experimental platform is used to screen for strains with better and more stable performance after modification, achieving efficient strain construction.

Microbial fermentation technology
By using microfluidic technology, more suitable fermentation micro conditions for bacterial strains were screened, and then the fermentation process was gradually scaled up from micro volume shake bottle-5L-50L-100L-1000L small-scale to pilot scale, exploring the effects of different temperatures and medium compositions on the target product and more stable fermentation process conditions that are closer to industrialization.

Purification technology
The purification technology of HMOs mainly includes decolorization and desalination systems and chromatographic separation systems. The HMOs fermentation broth after decolorization and desalination is subjected to a simulated moving bed device filled with a specially designed homogeneous chromatographic separation resin to obtain the target product LNT or LNnT. This device utilizes the principle that different sugars have different affinities for resins to separate different sugars in the fermentation broth, and can also perform secondary chromatographic separation to further improve the purity of the feed solution. The purity of LNT and LNnT obtained using this purification technology reaches over 92%.

Testing technology
We independently develop multiple detection methods for microorganisms, endotoxins, miscellaneous sugar components, fructose isomers, etc., to ensure that LNT and LNnT meet the specifications required by market regulations and improve product quality stability.
